Smallville
Sorry for the length between posts guys, but I have really been trying to come to a decision as to what to do and it is the hardest thing I have ever had to decide. If I'm not careful I could turn into a lifer pretty quickly and I am not sure that's what I want. Have been watching a series called Smallville, it's about Clark Kent trying to find his place in the world when he was young. I have never been a big superman fan as I have always thought he was to "super", but his life as Clark is interesting to say the least. You know there was a lot of stuff going down in Smallville when Clark was young. The guy that plays Lex Luthor is a great actor and everyone really plays their rolls well. The show has a long run and to my knowledge they are still making new eps, well worth a watch, available for DL if you are willing to look for it. As usual give everyone a break first season it takes them a while to get into their characters. Oh by the way, the guy that plays Clark's dad is the guy that played Beau Duke on the Dukes of Hazard, apparently all those years on Hazard did something to his driving skills, he can drive like a mo fo and it seems they get him to do it often on the show. Clark's parents are awesome, they are almost super hero's themselves at times. They are so strong, you get the sense that they care for Clark more than anything.
I am curious as to how everyone feels about the new Trek movie, I am not really sure I like the concept myself. The fact is people love the original series characters, Kirk is by far the most popular captain right next to Picard. Going back to when the characters were younger and using different actors, I'm just not sure. The guy they have playing Scotty is Simon Peg, the guy from "Hot Fuzz" and "Shawn of the Dead". Seems like he may work out alright, but who knows. I really love star trek, but everything has to come to an end ya know, but many say that trek is our modern mythology.
Found work, want to be satisfied with where I work from here on in. You have to think about everything when your doing these interviews. There is however one big issue that is keeping all of this from going smoothly. I don't want to get into it to deep until it's resolved, again I am sorry I have been MIA for a month, but it's a long story to tell. I have found a quick and easy way to call the states from here so it's possible that I may be talking to you guys more whenever I have spare cash on hand. It's not really cheap but it's not to bad, so far I have spoken to the grandparents, and my Dad. I have tried to call Linda on several occasions with no success, I will try to call everyone I can soon. Well I have some things I really need to go do so I must go, but it has felt great doing this post so I may update it a bit more tonight. BTW if I am going to make multiple posts in a day I usually update the post rather than adding another one, so it may be a good idea to check the blog a few times a day. Anyhow bye all
