Somewhere over the rainbow

Well everyone it has been a while since I updated, however, it is for a good reason. Both my brother and I have been hired at the English First school in WuHan. Again this is the city that we want to go to, and although it has been frustrating, it seems that in the long run it is going to be very worth while. We are going to be cutting it very close but we should be going to get our visas on Monday, I would like to go a bit sooner but things just have not worked in my favor there. Carrie was unable to come down and pick up my cat so now she has to meet us at the consulate, I'll give her the cat and say my goodbye's to her and that will be that. I was hoping to spend some time with her, hell I even had thoughts of rekindling our relationship. However, being that there has been almost 0 effort on her part to come down here and get my feline, or spend time with me, when she guaranteed that this wouldn't be a problem gives me a bad taste in my mouth, a very bad one. Perhaps similar to the one you get walking around in Paris after midnight, or perhaps what Dante Hicks tasted every time he kissed his girlfriend. Is there hope for Carrie and I still? Honestly I hope so, I love the woman but I need her to have some direction in her life, the way things are going with her right now she is still so ... Displaced. Once we have the visas then it's on like donkey Kong, we are outta this fucking place on the 1st of September, yep the end o next week fools. The biggest problem so far is luggage, Chinese airlines don;t let you take much for free and deciding what to take and what to ship later is nuts, shipments can get lost and I don;t have much so I would hate to loose any of it, My spare computer will be one thing that is shipped to me for sure, Listen guys I know I haven't said much but the fact is I am tired and I have lots to do so I gotta go and try to get a couple hours of shut eye before getting up to do this all over again, grandma grandpa hope your having fun on your trip.
